St. Joe students celebrate first mass

St. Joe seniors attend the first mass of the school year.

Last Thursday, St. Joe students, faculty, and teachers held the first mass of school year.

To enforce social distancing, only the senior class and a select group of teachers were in the auditorium. Seniors participated in a class ring blessing ceremony, a St. Joe tradition that they missed out on due to remote learning last spring.

Other students and teachers watched the mass through a livestream produced by the Bruin Broadcast team as well as Mr. Jamie Stringer. Eucharistic ministers trekked throughout campus to give the Blessed Sacrament to students in their classrooms.
