St. Joe Bruins fall short against McAdams Bulldogs

The St. Joe Bruins varsity football team loss a close game to the McAdams Bulldogs last Friday, which officially brought their season record to 3-2.
Friday’s game had a troubling start for the Bruins, when the Bulldogs scored two touchdowns on the first opening drives of the cold night. However, St. Joe’s defense shifted into gear and held a tight grasp on McAdams’ offense. The Bruins would later scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, leaving themselves in a one point deficit.
With a minute in the clock, the Bruins had the decision to either tie the game with a field goal or put themselves in the lead with a two point conversion. The Bruins went for the two points, but fell short and ended the game with a score of 13-14.
Following their loss, the team has begun to prepare for the Pisgah Dragons. The game was originally scheduled for Friday, but was moved to Thursday October 8 due to weather conditions.
The Bruins will be traveling to Sandhill, MS to face the Dragons, but the game will still be live-streamed on through Bruin TV. Fan can also listen to the game live on WJXC Jackson, Mississippi Catholic Radio, 107.9 FM starting at 6:45 p.m.
