Interest meetings for the Bruin cheerleaders and Spirit Steppers tryouts are being held this week as well as the next.

Students interested in joining the Spirit Steppers dance team were to attend an interest meeting at 6:30 p.m. yesterday in the school cafeteria. Tryouts are set for the week before spring break. Those who are trying out are required to attend a clinic Monday through Thursday leading up to tryouts.

For students interested in cheer, the interest meeting is being held tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. The cheer clinic is set for March 1 through 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tryouts will be held on Thursday, March 4. St. Joe rising freshmen to rising seniors are also invited to join.

All St. Joe girls from rising freshmen to rising seniors are invited to try out, and each girl is required to turn in teacher evaluations into the front office. These evaluations will play a part in determining next years’ teams, as well as leadership positions for rising seniors.
