As St. Joe students enter the last month of school, Bruin athletics are preparing their teams for the next school year.

Tryouts for Boys Basketball begin this week with the middle school team starting on Tuesday, April 20 and ending Thursday, April 22. For high school boys, the team is having tryouts Monday, April 26 through Thursday, April 29. All basketball tryouts are from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the St. Joe Gym.

However, Bruin Soccer also plans on having tryouts soon. Girls Soccer tryouts will be held Wednesday and Thursday, April 28 and 29 on the Bill Raphael Field from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

All students interested in basketball should contact Coach Michael Howell at [email protected]. Those interested in soccer should contact Coach Danielle Poe at [email protected]. The official rosters for all tryouts will be released following the final day of tryouts.

Any students that plan on participating in tryouts must be enrolled at St. Joe for the 2021-2022 school year.
